Baby Names

A lot of people keeps on asking me what will I name my baby. I keep on saying I haven't decided yet because I really haven't, I can't seem to find the perfect name for my baby but I do have a lot of choices.
  1.  Anael Mavis
    • Hanael/Anael is an archangel's name, if my baby is indeed born on my due date I MIGHT choose this name
  2. Blake Mavis
    • I've always love Blake Lively and would love to name my baby after her
  3. Harper Mavis
    • Harper is the name of the oh-so-hot David Beckham's daughter and it has that Queen Bee ring to it.
  4. Aleph Mavis
    • For all you Paulo Coelho readers, well this is one of his most recent novels, I think it was published 1-2 years ago and it is a great book where it makes life seem more of a spiritual journey.
As you guys notice there is a common denomination (or name) in all name studies, "MAVIS" and there's this funny short story behind it.
When my best friend and I were at Glorietta looking for a place to eat, then we stopped by at this shop and I saw this little Stitch stuffed toy (i'm in love with Stitch btw). Then I blurted out, "Blue, that's a cute name." And my best friend light up and said "Oo nga! Tapos kapag nagkababy ako nickname ko sakanya is light para kapag magkasama sila tawag sa kanila light blue." (Yes! Then is I have a baby of my own I'll name her light so when she and blue are together we can call them light blue)
Admittedly that is a very ridiculous story and we laugh our heads off that night, but we were really serious. So to be a little more discreet than naming my baby Blue, I researched on the what blue is in different languages. And in Azerbaijan, the word blue is "Mavi." Just recently I decided to make it Mavis when I watched the animated movie Hotel Transylvania and the vampire's daughter is named as "Mavis" and it has a very nice ring to it.
