Boracay's Famous Calamansi Muffins Recipe

The first time I went to boracay, a colleague of mine told me that there's this cafe that sells delicious calamansi muffins. At first I was like, "Calamansi? Seriously? I don't think I'm gonna like that muffin" but we still want to Real Coffee and Tea Cafe and I came with an open mind (and taste buds).

When I saw it, my head was like, "Oh no. Here it goes. I don't think my taste buds will love this." When I took that first bite, mmmmmhhhmmmmm. *yum* I'm not really (more like never) a fan of tangy tasting muffins but this was the best tangy tasting muffin I've ever tasted. Specially when its warm, fresh from oven kind of muffin. 

And now thanks to pepper.ph I now have a recipe to replicate such wonderful muffins. It's just too expensive to fly to Boracay to buy some.
